Common questions

More questions

What should I bring for my personal tax return?

Your tax slips (T4, T5, T3, T2202 and others), RRSP and FHSA contribution receipts, medical, donation and childcare receipts, rent or property tax details, and last year’s Notice of Assessment. Not sure? Send what you have and we will tell you exactly what is missing.

When are the tax deadlines?

Most personal returns are due April 30. If you or your spouse are self-employed, the return is due June 15, but any balance owing is still due April 30. Corporations file their T2 within six months of their year-end.

I received a letter from the CRA. Can you help?

Yes. We handle CRA correspondence, reviews and audits, and can file a Notice of Objection when you disagree with an assessment. Send us the letter as soon as you get it, because CRA letters usually come with a deadline.

How much will it cost?

Every file is different, so we start with a free 30-minute consultation. After we understand your situation, we will tell you what the work involves and what it will cost.
